Freelance: LeafStyles.com

This client is a childhood friend of mine who asked me to develop a logo for an online business that ships well nurtured tree seedlings to consumers looking to "go green" or just spruce up their property. I have included my sketches (which were started when he thought the name may have been TreeStarter.com) and the final vector artwork. Enjoy and if you're in the market for a sapling visit leafstyles.com

Long's Horseradish for The One Club

Long's horseradish is a small family own brand from Lancaster PA.(most famous for its Amish communities)the Long's brand has decided to branch out from their simple stand at the central market in Pennsylvania and put their product in select gourmet grocer's across the country. To do this the company needed to re-brand its self and asked for the help of the One Club a design community based in N.Y. who in turn made it the subject of their annual college competition The One Show. For my part I took on the categories of Logo Design, Innovative marketing strategy (the recipe deck p. o. p. giveaway), Corporate I.d (stationery set), and package design (6oz. jar) I took into consideration the company's new target (foodies, green consumers) the company's family oriented history and heritage and the brand's over a century old start date before designing. I am happy with the results and we'll just have to wait and see what the judges think.
